TEAM INTRODUCTION

Zhiwei, WangSpecial Researcher

Wang was born in 1983. He graduated from the Institute of physics CAS with a doctors degree in 2012. After that, he engaged in post doctoral research at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, the University of Osaka in Japan and the University of Cologne in Germany. In march 2019, he was invited to join the school of physics of Beijing Institute of technology as a special researcher and doctoral supervisor. He has many years of experience in studying abroad and preparing single crystal quantum materials. So far, more than 60 SCI papers has been published in Nature and Science, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review X, Nano Letters and other international top journals, which have been cited more than 1000 times. He is a member of the American Chemical Society, the European Society for Applied Superconductivity, and the Asia Pacific Society for condensed matter physics. He also serves as a reviewer and guest editor of many international journals, and has a certain international influence in this field.

Crystal Growth Team（All from Beijing institute of Technology）

In 2019, a research team was established, relying on the school of physics, Beijing Institute of technology. The team currently include four PhD students, four postgraduates and two undergraduate students. We mainly focus to the preparation and research of physical properties of single crystal quantum materials, including topological insulators, topological semimetals and topological superconductors, etc. The above new quantum materials have attracted much attention because of their unique surface state transport, and are expected to be applied to the next generation of low-power devices to solve the problems of energy consumption and heating.
